Voice Over Demo Reel.
Ariel performing in “A Pastoral” choreographed by Luciana Achugar at New York Live Arts
We Dance On.
Ariel Performing in “Labeled,” a piece she co-choreographed to shed light on the toxicity of name calling and labeling in highschool that is placed on young women. The piece starts with each dancer’s shirt duct taped to conceal their stereotyped personality trait. At the end we hear a voice over say “In the end I’m still gonna be… me” with each dancer individually revealing their “label.”

Listen up.
Ariel traces the turning point in her identity journey to a moment in 2018, sitting in an empty classroom with long time collaborator Jonon Gansukh. Two freshman pondering identity and the intersectionality of showing the world who we are, versus being shown by the world who we should be. What came then was Ariel’s first ever devised piece “Mixed Thoughts.”
Here is an excerpt of the beginning audio from that show. Listener discretion is advised as this is mature content.
