Hi! My name is Ariel
It all starts with a vision. Maybe you have a concept but are unsure how to execute it.. Maybe you have the words but struggle writing them as digestible content. Or maybe you have the concept, and the content, but have yet to reach the diverse audiences that you want to. Whatever your need is, I want to help you take your vision to the next level.
Hi! My name is Ariel and I am a Content Producer, Copywriter, and Digital Media Strategist.
Project: August Meetup | Hair Stories: Detangling the Stigma
Insight: Objective was to capture a wider range of audiences but still center discussions around the topic of mixedness and intersection. What would audiences resonate with emotionally due to current events and personal experience? Everyone has experiences with hair; having too much of it, losing it, styling it, being shamed for it, embracing it… Let’s build off current social climate and talk to our community about one of the most stigmatized human features to date, with easy to answer experience questions that no one can get wrong.
Project: September Meetup | Family Values: Class & the Meaning of Success
Insight: Mixed communities and first-gen communities often struggle with balancing their career passions with the pressure of living up to the “American Dream.” What questions and imagery can we use to play off of these consistent emotions that the community feels and create dialogue? Let’s break down how the up and coming community defines success and their class vs. how their parents defined it.
Project: January Meetup | Multidimensional Healing: A Body + Soul Workshop
Insight: Objective was to speak to our health and wellness focused audience and invite them to our event. We utilized calming imagery as well as imagery that showcases the physical effort of yoga- the center of focus for our event. To introduce the speaker of the event we used a quote from them that spoke to yoga and toxic beauty standards. This also was important in relating to our mixed audience through the common theme of changing ourselves to belong.

The Mixed Space: Content Creation & Social Media Ad’s
-
Launched in 2019, The Mixed Space was an experimental based arts community focused on curating events (“Meetups”) for its members to aid in identity development. Following COVID-19 our goal was to advertise online “Meetups” and grow our attendance and community base.
-
The Mixed Space “Meetups” became the company focal points for content. Every month specially curated events geared towards specific communities of intersection were presented. Chosen highlights of each recorded Zoom event would then become the foundation for later engagement represented through Social Media follows, Website clicks, and Newsletter signups. This cyclical pattern focused on retaining past online audience attendees, while generating new audiences with every new monthly topic.
-
Attract new audiences each month within intersectional communities by producing an online event and advertisements geared towards a specific niche.
Process:
Conducted independent research on different intersectional communities. Hosted monthly team research reviews. Created and populated monthly creative briefs. Lead creative campaign meetings. Oversaw content development and social media posting. Followed up with social media outreach. Gathered monthly performance analytics and created final monthly reviews for team.
-
Over the 2 years of online “Meetups” The Mixed Space saw 1,500+ individual event sign ups, 5k+ Instagram followers, 2.1k Facebook followers, and 500+ Youtube subscribers. Third year projections were showing increase as well but the data was not available by the time I left.
